In 1995, Chris Ledyard took over the position of Athletic Director of the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Ledyard was also coach of the Lady Barons soccer team for the 2003 season.

Ledyard has nearly 15 years of coaching experience, beginning at Catholic Central High School in 1990 as the wrestling and track coach where he led both teams to the Ohio State Championships. Ledyard also went across the border to Madonna High School in West Virginia for three seasons where, as the wrestling coach, he led the team to two West Virginia State Championships. In 2005 Ledyard coached the U12 girls travel soccer team to the Pennsylvania West League Soccer Championships.

Personally, Ledyard is himself a former Division III ECAC 150lb. Wrestling Champion and 1986 NCAA Division III National Championships qualifier as well as a certified fitness trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association and American Council on Exercise. When not coaching Ledyard is a singer/songwriter with the Christian Contemporary band, Remnant since 1988 and has recently released a solo album with songwriting partner Mark Fischer called “Innocence of Late.”

Christopher Lincklaen Ledyard graduated from Ithaca College in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He and his wife of sixteen years, Lisa, reside in Wintersville, Ohio, with their six children.
